This “Edge Grain” cutting board, with a comfortable handle on one end, includes a ¾” hole for hanging. The wood configuration of naturally colored strips of hardwood will add a touch of elegance to your wall, table or counter top. Only hardwoods with a food safe, closed cell structure are used in this handmade cutting board. Primary hardwoods used are Walnut, Hard Maple, Cherry and Paduk. All hardwoods are cut and glued together(glue is food grade & water proof) whereby the Edge Grain of the individual PC’s are making up the cutting surface of the board.
 
There are NO stains used in this cutting board, the colors are strictly that of the individual wood species. The finish includes a Food Grade Mineral Oil Bath, followed by a Wood Balm “Rub”, made of Mineral Oil and Beeswax.
